Microsoft's Project Natal: Human Controller



This post from Engadget features a video of the next possible step in interactive gaming, dubbed Project Natal by Microsoft. The device works on motion-capture, facial recognition so you won't need a wiimote or nunchuk or any other gaming controller or peripheral. The potential of this is pretty immense I must say, but if the Wii is anything to go by, they really should be looking at improving Wii's weakness like time-delay, minute movements not captured well, and implement the idea on a graphically competent console. And who ever thought holding your hands up to drive several number of laps is going to be easy? Its quite taxing actually. But let's see how this changes the future of Xbox and gaming.
