Previous studies have shown little concern regarding radiation emission from hand phones and its adverse effects on our health. However, according to the Environmental Working Group's latest research, that was because the pool of subjects then weren't exposed to long-term mobile phone radiation. This and other inconsistencies culminated in EWG's research that seems headed in the right direction.
The bottomline is - look for phones that have low Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) ratings, and try not to keep your phone in such close proximity all the time.
