Rock Band 2 owners will be able to import Rock Band Lego songs. This will probably be implemented similarly to the Rock Band 1 Export Key, where a small fee is charged, and the songs are then downloaded into your console (and you then toss the Rock Band Lego game cd to the 2nd-hand retail market..)

On a similar topic, Rock Band 2 will get the Rock Band Network added to its game function via a patch this November. This will enable RB2 gamers to download demo versions of songs to try before buying. Songs will be charged between USD$1-3, set by the artist.
