Right now, it seems the Chrome OS will be something that cloud computing users may want to consider using. Sorta limited I feel. I don't see why I would want to switch to this OS when any of the other Linux distros, which are open source and can be light too, already provide more..
Furthermore, the OS is only being developed
for machines with "specific reference hardware," as their machines will boot directly from those machines and skip a lot of the hardware checking steps that standard operating systems run through.
