Ok, the Phandroid fan-boys' verdict is out - he's buying the Droid. This despite the Motorola Android 2.0 model having several shortcomings. The large 3.7" screen and thin-ness probably ranked over the homescreen lag, camera issues, keyboard issues and screen-keyboard gap. Not to mention the "underbite" (as opposed to HTC Hero's "chin").
