An improvement may soon be seen of all UK-based plugs for electricity-requiring devices! A graduate project of a student from the Royal College of Art in London has come up the Folding Plug System that minimises the unwieldy existing fat plus into a foldable flat plug when not in use (for transportation etc).
The new, flat form-factor also means that, when folded, three of these plugs can be lined up like slices of toast in a rack, fitting into an adapter barely larger than a single standard plug.
