The story details how he uses light from his SLR to get around, treats his wounds from an iPhone medical app, and how he used a 20-min alarm to keep him awake averting shock relapse. How's this for a device that just sold itself?
“It really was an incredible tool in my pocket, and I was really glad to have it,” Woolley told Wired.com on the phone.

The device lasted the 65-hour ordeal through the use of a mophie juice-pack.. without which, we'd get by about 48-hours at most.. =P
