New Android phones - Galaxy S & Evo 4G

The Android mobile OS has thrown down the gauntlet with 2 new powerful HD mobile devices - the Samsung Galaxy S and the HTC Evo 4G! These devices are Flash-enabled and their 4" and larger touchscreens even feature a Super AMOLED screen (for the Galaxy S). Read on for more details, and check out the hands-on videos of each phone below:

The Samsung Galaxy S has a Super AMOLED screen and a more powerful graphics chip that can push out 90 million pixels vs iPhone's 28 mil, as well as a processor that is estimated to be 3x faster than the Qualcomm 1Ghz Snapdragon. It also has a 5MPX camera and a really smooth user interface. Check it out in the video below:

The HTC Evo 4G is obviously based on the earlier HD2 model. It features "480 x 800 4.3-inch TFT LCD, with a Snapdragon QSD8650 1GHz processor" and is WiMax enabled (thus the '4G', how about providers outside the US?). It has "1GB of built-in memory and 512MB of RAM", and has an HDMI output. Check out the video below:
