Some time back, I got involved in the Jolicloud testing simply cos I wanted to enhance my netbook experience. I had turned to Jolicloud in search of a hassle-free solution that would allow me to connect to the internet, facebook and email. However, as it seemed nothing more than an Ubuntu Remix reskin back then (and too many bugs for me to bother with), I chucked it aside.
Well, this little OS that could, has gone through a facelift and some streamlining, and voila, we now have the 1.0 version ready for your testing.
It boasts a startup time of "seconds", and looks even cleaner now. The next challenge is getting developers to come up with apps specific to Jolicloud.
