Engadget sums up the GPS woes for Samsung's Galaxy series of smartphones into 2 problems.
1) Turn on Use Wireless Networks option (apparently a new Google mandate that phones have it off at the start).
2) Wait for an update which should hit next month.
And the GPS woes will be over. *crosses fingers*
The problem at hand is that users of these phones are having problems triangulating their location on Google maps for instance. This is exacerbated when they are indoors or have a roof over their heads.
